Since its beginnings in 1978, the members of Ambleside Oral History Group have acquired much experience and many skills. We have run many successful workshops over the years for the members of various history groups, tackling all aspects of oral history.
We concentrate on interviewing techniques for beginners who are thinking of or in process of creating an oral history archive, using equipment, transcribing and archiving. We may also offer hints and guidance for the more experienced.
